About Me
MSc graduate in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. I'm a highly motivated individual
with a passion for tackling challenges and applying learned concepts in real-world applications. During my Bachelor's and Master's
degrees, I developed a strong interest in Robotics and Machine Learning.
My distinct traits are self-improvement and multi-disciplinarity. I like undertaking projects
to challenge my capabilities and expand my skillset, and this led me to develop a versatile and variegated range of skills
(both technical and non-technical) that spans across different fields.
I am constantly ready to face new challenges, confident of my problem solving skills and detail-oriented mindset, aiming
to meet and even exceed other people's expectations.
On my free time I am an active person, who loves to practice different sports, and a creative mind, with the passion for
traditional and digital art forms.
Work Experience
Research fellow at Politecnico di Milano
2024 - present
Milan, Italy
- Project description
The research focuses on developing health monitoring and prognostic methods for avionic systems by analyzing data packet retransmissions in challenging environments (high temperatures and/or vibrations). The project, in collaboration with Leonardo S.p.A., involves configuring the laboratory environment, designing software modules to be deployed on electronic boards, conducting experiments to stress the system, and laying the groundwork for implementing algorithms to detect abnormal conditions, predict potential faults and estimate the remaining useful life of the system.
Education
Master of science degree in Automation and Control Engineering, at Politecnico di Milano

- Relevant courses:
A User-Friendly Tool for the Verification of Protection Systems in LV Distribution Grids
In partnership with ABB, developed a user-friendly tool for the formal verification of protection systems in LV distribution grids. This involved creating a custom notation (Simulink library) for easy graphical grid modeling and implementing an intuitive application (MATLAB app) to control the process. Designed and implemented supplementary features to enhance the user experience, validated through summative usability testing.
